GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Team Leader or the Master Assembler, ensures that parts, products, and vehicles are built to meet Club Car’s high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This position utilizes advanced assembly skills and knowledge to perform complex rebuilds, provide on-the-job training to other assemblers, and support the overall success of the Certified Pre-Owned operation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, recondition, and customize used golf cars into high-quality, customer-ready vehicles.
- Utilize previous experience and versatility to fill in for other Assemblers as needed to maintain workflow and production goals.
- Convert existing used golf cars into several variations, including 4-passenger and lifted models.
- Replace or repair identified mechanical, electrical, and exterior components per specifications.
- Ensure all workstations are properly set up, and all tools and materials are available to meet daily production requirements.
- Train and cross-train newly assigned or hired associates on proper assembly methods, quality standards, TQC procedures, and Kanban maintenance.
- Verify work performed by Assemblers and provide retraining as needed to ensure compliance with product and process specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to obtain first-article and final-part approvals.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader and Supervisor to determine disposition of questionable or rejected parts and assemblies.
- Submit work orders and tool repair tickets to the appropriate departments promptly.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve tooling, fixtures, and assembly processes; assist in implementing approved improvements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; actively support 5S and safety initiatives.
- Report production or quality concerns promptly to the Team Leader.
- Support a team culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
Experience:
- Previous assembly and/or manufacturing experience.

- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires occasional lifting of objects of 25 to 50 pounds.
- Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.
- Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
