GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Data Analytics Developer plays a critical role in transforming enterprise data into meaningful insights using the Oracle Analytics Platform. This position focuses on designing and developing scalable dashboards, reports, and data models that support strategic decision-making across the organization. By leveraging tools like Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), SQL, and integrated data sources, the developer ensures high-quality, accessible analytics solutions tailored to business needs. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful data-driven outcomes.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Works closely with key business and information technology stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle BI tools.
- Works with internal customers to foster and grow the company’s adoption of technology to optimize standard work and enable data driven decisions.
- Understands the business processes and flows to enable functional requirements analysis and the development of solutions for the business functions.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle BI tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Build and optimize data models, visualizations, and KPIs to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Integrate data from various sources including Oracle databases, cloud applications, and third-party systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across analytics solutions.
- Monitors daily application health, including system uptime, responsiveness, break/fix issues and approved requests.
- Implement security and access controls within Oracle Analytics to safeguard sensitive information.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on Oracle Analytics tools and best practices.
- Stay current with Oracle Analytics updates and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.
- Uses knowledge to support the corporate and business unit's IT and business strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or BI development, with a focus on Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle BI (OBIEE), or Oracle Data Visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data querying and transformation.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse or Oracle Fusion Applications is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar ETL tool.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Manufacturing preferred.
