Gold Standard Employer is Golf Jobs’ badge of approval for organisations that commit to transparent, ethical and candidate-first hiring practices.

It recognises members who publish clear, inclusive job ads, state pay ranges up front, communicate with every applicant and follow our DEI guidelines.

Who is eligible to become a Gold Standard Employer?

Any golf-industry employer - clubs, resorts, suppliers or service providers - can join, provided they agree to meet and maintain our advertising and candidate-experience criteria.

How do I apply for Gold Standard membership?

Simply complete the online application form on our website. We'll then get in touch within 48 hours to get you signed up.

What criteria must be met to maintain accreditation?

  • All job ads must include a clear, mobile-friendly description with responsibilities and requirements
  • A transparent salary (or salary range) must be stated in every ad
  • Every applicant must receive at least one update on their application status
  • You must display your DEI policy or statement on your company profile
  • You must outline the steps of your hiring process so candidates know what to expect

Can I cancel or downgrade my membership?

Yes. You can cancel or downgrade at any time by contacting our team. One month's notice is required as standard.

How is the standard enforced?

We perform monthly spot-checks on your live ads. If you fall out of compliance, we’ll notify you with suggested fixes. Continued non-compliance may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal of your Gold Standard badge and membership downgrade.

What support is provided during membership?

How do I feature job ads and are there limits?
