GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
In this position, we are looking for a person that can manage a team of analysts while also serving as an analyst themselves. This person will need analytical skills, the ability to create visualizations, competence with analytical software, proficiency with querying source systems, strong communication skills, strong managerial skills, and a strategic mindset for future improvements. We need someone who can collaborate with all types of people and can deliver a high-quality product to both internal and external customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Leadership, development planning, performance goals, employee engagement and salary planning for the analytics team.
- Exercises exceptional communication skills and be an effective team servant leader with a positive, enthusiastic, and customer focused attitude.
- Execute financial analysis, cost center and warranty spend financial planning.
- Compile data from various systems into a format that best serves the customer.
- Analyze data using standard statistical methods
- Generate forecast models based on analytic results
- Communicate analyses using the best means available
- Streamline manual data manipulation for customers
- Provide data support for quality improvement activities and projects
- Create and maintain cost/failure prediction models
- Create Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to various databases
- Create summary reports to post on Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI)
- Create ad-hoc data queries upon request
- Prepare and deliver presentations when necessary
- Understand and provide analytics for warranty issues.
- Work with offshore development team to create enterprise dashboards

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, preferred or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- Supervisory 4 Years’ Experience preferred
- Alteryx Advanced Certification preferred
- Tableau Data Analyst Certification preferred
- Experience with quality management information systems
- Demonstrate leadership / management skills.
- Consistently demonstrates responsiveness to the customer and be quality minded in performance of all duties.
