SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the planning, management and implementation of VAVE/NPD projects in the Global Integrated Supply Chain (GISC) and Aftermarket. Lead, develop and communicates project schedules and conduct progress reviews on multiple projects with Supply Chain and Aftermarket teams. Works closely with new domestics/international suppliers to make sure right processes are adopted for proper shipment of production material and assure that supplier is set up to receive forecast information, ASN notifications, logistics/packaging standards and suppliers are systematically set up for the quality assurance requirements to flow material. Work closely with SQE(Supplier Quality Engineers) to assure compliance of PPAP requirements prior to the use of the new/revised part in manufacturing and is part of the PPAP Windchill flow for purchase order creation and communication. Lead cross functional teams (IT, Customer Service(CS), MPQE, IE, Material Flow) to successfully implement changes on the line without any impact on operations. Participate in NPD projects and provide scope plan for the implementation of projects from the supply chain/materials perspective and responsible for the ramp up and ramp down of materials. Manage ERP data management for production and Aftermarket and works closely with Product Management, Industrial Engineering, Material Planning and CS to troubleshoot and modify offering of parts to the customers. Lead cost versus benefits discussion with teams for implementation timing to align on business needs. Works closely with CS to support Aftermarket orders and closely maintains the parts that are no longer available and update system with substitution and sell to deletion messages.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES:
- Drive regular evaluation of planning parameters to optimize inventory investment on new products.
- Implement all New Products, Engineering Sustaining and Value Add Value Engineering (VAVE) changes in GISC.
- Develop necessary analysis and align with PGT (Product Growth Teams) members to facilitate data driven business decision to strategically time implementation of projects
- Lead cross functional release meetings for the alignment of cross functional teams and implementation date of projects in GISC.
- Resolve complex systems issues among Siebel, Windchill PLM, MRP and MES systems to allow the proper flow of information from order entry to shipment.
- Set effectivity dates of Bill of Materials (BOM) changes on production lines through Windchill PLM system.
- Systems set up of parameters, processes and procurement of newly introduced parts to ensure proper supply chain readiness prior to implementation of changes in production.
- Create PPAP purchase orders and assures completion of PPAP requirements prior to implementation of projects on manufacturing line.
- Maintain the offering of parts by opening parts and suspending parts in Aftermarket and production.
- Support customer service team with new cars backorders by opening parts in Aftermarket.
- Work cross functionally with different technical teams to review prints to determine proper parts needed to solve customer issues.
- Support NPD project teams in the procurement of parts needed for MAB (Manufacturing Assessment Build) and MVB (Manufacturing Validation Build) for the successful testing of new products.
- Support Material Planning team in creation of deviation to look for substitutes to prevent line shortages.
- Collaborate closely with SIOP team and Product Management team for the necessary forecasting of new products.
- Work with Finance for the review of the OSMI file and provides suggestion of what parts need to be excluded from the reserve.
- Support sourcing teams on determining bank build quantities to support tool changes at suppliers.
- Support PEX and program managers as needed with project activities related to supply chain as needed.
- Support CVS team in completion of necessary Siebel activities to assign planners to new SVP parts and to open new SVP parts in Aftermarket.
- Work closely with Material Planning and CAS team in the set up of new parts through the dropped ship process (GDS/PDS)

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to Club Car’s Materials Manager. Will lead without authority project team comprise of MPQE, SQE, IE and Material flow supervisors. Will also be part of Core team for new product development and will be closely involved with the design and implementation of new products.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or other related fields
- 7 to 10 years in Supply Chain and/or Operations, including the Quality function in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of large ($500M+) multinational experience
- 5+ years of multi-site planning or scheduling function leadership, especially in a complex supply chain or manufacturing environment
- Experience in ISO compliant, lean manufacturing environment
- Proven Leadership skills with capability to lead change in a complex organization
- Exceptional analytical and reporting skills
- Experience with process controls, statistical methods & concepts
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office modules
- Experience with PLM systems will be a plus.
- APICS Certification preferred
