Position Overview
At
Cabot, our housekeeping team has a significant impact on our guest experience.
As our Housekeeping Attendant you are part of a team of people who care deeply about the experience our
guests have. Highly responsible and reliable, the small details matter
to you and it shows in how our guests enjoy the comfort of their home away from
home.
Your

EXECUTIONAL
EXCELLENCE
Under the direction of the Housekeeping
Manager and Housekeeping Supervisoryou will:
- Offer
consistent professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Clean
all assigned guest accommodations including but not limited to stripping
soiled linen, retrieval of clean linen and amenities from closets,
dusting, making beds, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning,
and occasional deep cleaning.
- Replenish
supplies and check operational equipment inventories.
- Sign
in and out master keys daily.
- Update
and record all cleaned rooms.
- Deliver
and retrieve items on loan to guest rooms.
- Perform rotational cleaning duties
including steam cleaning carpets as required.
- Use proper
PPE when using hazardous materials such as chemicals for self and others.
- Assist guests with information on
resort amenities and directions.
- Return
and properly tag all lost and found articles to the appropriate location.
- Follow
departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Be environmentally aware; play an active
part in departmental and company environmental practices.
- Ensure
amenities and linen closets are clean and tidy for inspection and up to
standard for safety.
- Report necessary repair items to
Maintenance department, this includes but is not limited to damaged/burned
out light bulbs, dripping faucets, running toilets, etc.
- Comply
with proper security, fire regulation, and all health and safety policies.
Qualifications
and Experience
- Previous housekeeping experience an
asset.
- Knowledge of
Workplace Hazardous Information System (WHIMIS).
Physical
Demands
- Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting,
standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and/or lifting.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly lift,
carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to ascend or descend, stairs and ramps on an occasional
basis.
- Ability
to work with and around chemicals, and registered products and safely
follow product labels.
