Position Overview
As the Links Second Assistant Superintendent you will assist the Links Superintendent and Links Assistant Superintendent with day-to-day management of the Links golf course, development landscaping, and the leadership for our 25-person turf care team with tasks including but not limited to:
- Leading the team on course projects, morning meetings, safety briefings etc.
- Ensure that all work is completed by the team in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with our standards and guest expectations.
- Training staff on the safe, responsible, and effective use of all turf care equipment
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are being upheld
- Ability to obtain a Nova Scotia Pesticide Applicator’s License
- Experience with Rainbird irrigation system maintenance and operation
- High degree of computer literacy – excel, word, various other digital platforms and mobile technology
- Punctual
