Position Summary
The successful candidate will be counted on to drive and support the Soft Goods Team with replenishment management and key inventory processes along with executing critical tasks within the SAP platform.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Soft Goods Merchant Team to manage replenishment minimums by Style/Color/Size/Location.
- Analyze sales curves and in season performance to determine location inventory min adjustments necessary to drive sales, margin & turn.
- Partner weekly with soft goods planners/merchant team to review key item product performance, S/T, WOS, on order and make analytic adjustment recommendations.
- Maintain and manage the process of promotional price changes, new store transfers, and general article maintenance for both store and Soft Goods Teams.
- Assist with new store inventory management as it relates to replenishment product.
- Maintain and manage the process of seasonal price adjustments, additional off clearance, transfers, and article maintenance.
- Training new merchandising associates on SAP, SPS and procedures related to inventory management.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Must have 5 years of retail background specific to buying, planning and/or replenishment.
- Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills. Candidates must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate cross-functionally.
- Analytical: Candidates must have strong strategic skills, be able to forecast business needs, and develop comprehensive solutions to complex problems.
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities and solutions to increase sales and improve operational processes.
- Technology: Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with BI, Power BI, SAP is preferred.
- Organization: Candidates must be able to organize multiple priorities to ensure that resources are properly allocated to meet objectives. They must have strong organizational and intuitive skills to make sound decisions & gain partnership/influence on recommendations without direct supervision.
- Retail experience required. Replenishment background preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time as the job is completed primarily at a desk each day. Variable desk heights are offered so alternatively sitting and/or standing at the desk is optional.
- Flexibility to work extended and varied hours as needed.
