Position Summary
Reporting to Director of Planning, the successful candidate will be counted on to drive and support the merchant team with replenishment management and key inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with merchant team to maintain replenishment target stock levels, PO review, analysis and recommendations.
- Analyze product performance in season and make location adjustment recommendations that drive sales and increase margin & turn.
- Examine key Item and new product performance.
- Maintain and manage the process of price changes, transfers, rtv’s, net down’s and article maintenance for both store and merchant team.
- Assist with new store inventory management
- Training of new merchandising associates on SAP, SPS and procedures related to inventory management.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills. Candidates must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate cross-functionally.
- Analytical: Candidates must have strong strategic skills, be able to forecast business needs, and develop comprehensive solutions to complex problems.
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities and solutions to increase sales and improve operational processes.
- Computer: Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and the Internet.
- Organization: Candidates must be able to organize multiple priorities to ensure that resources are properly allocated to meet objectives. They must have strong organizational and intuitive skills to make sound decisions without direct supervision.
- Retail experience required/preferred
- Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and typical hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
