ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership & Team Management: Oversee a team of technical experts, fostering collaboration and driving initiatives that align with our technical roadmap.
- Innovation & Development: Leverage golfer insights to develop new products, ensuring they meet performance and launch expectations across our golf ball platform.
- Technical Engagement & Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to pull together innovative technologies from the greater team. Understanding and experience in the areas of new materials, aerodynamics, golf ball processing and evaluation of new constructions is beneficial.
- Develop innovation, product and people strategies to support business objectives.
- Contribute to overall department planning, priorities and foster teamwork.
- Manage innovation calendar and align with various departments to meet future technical objectives. .
- High level of engagement within the RD team and departments across the business.
- Seek and advise R&D Leadership of new intellectual property opportunities.
- Meet with personnel to review progress on projects, assign new projects and reprioritize existing projects as needed.
- Provide appropriate feedback to individuals on an on-going basis to manage performance, and also conduct annual performance reviews, goal setting, and tracking.
