The SD/EDI SAP Manager – Global Business plays a critical leadership role in the design, development, and management of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration solutions. Your responsibilities will include implementing and optimizing Order-to-Cash (OTC) and EDI processes while ensuring seamless integration between SAP systems and external platforms. Collaborating with IT, solution integrators, business stakeholders, third-party providers, and Callaway Golf customers, you will identify and implement technological solutions that drive business value across our global operations. This position is based in Carlsbad, California.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead the design and implementation of EDI and Order-to-Cash solutions that align with business objectives and adhere to global process standards.
· Oversee the prioritization, design, and deployment of EDI and OTC solutions across all regions, ensuring alignment with business needs and timelines.
· Foster strong partnerships with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external providers to deliver integrated, scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
· Build and maintain effective relationships with global business leads and EDI trading partners to streamline communication and collaboration.
· Manage the production support of EDI, OTC, and eCommerce platform integrations with SAP, ensuring high availability and minimal disruptions to operations.
· Optimize IDoc processing within SAP to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely transaction flows.
· Direct the integration of external platforms and third-party services with SAP through middleware tools such as SnapLogic and SAP PI/PO.
· Establish and uphold standards for documentation, process improvements, and best practices in EDI operations.
· Design and implement forward-thinking solutions that drive innovation and create long-term business value.
· Continuously assess team capabilities, identify skill gaps, and support training and development initiatives to enhance performance.
· Lead cross-functional teams as cohesive "virtual" project teams, ensuring accountability, collaboration, and alignment with project goals.
· Mentor and develop team members, guiding goal setting, performance feedback, and conducting evaluations.
· Act as a change agent within the organization, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across systems and processes.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
SAP SD & EDI Expertise:
· Deep expertise in SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle processes.
· In-depth knowledge of EDI standards, IDoc structures, and SAP integration methodologies
· Proficient in designing and developing end-to-end architecture for inbound and outbound transactions, including:
· 846 (Inventory Inquiry/Advice)
· 850 (Purchase Order)
· 855 (Order Acknowledgment)
· 856 (Advance Ship Notice)
· 810 (Invoice)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple trading partner relationships.
· Extensive experience in IDoc processing and error resolution within SAP.
· Familiarity with SAP Variant Configuration (VC) and its integration with OTC processes.
· Experience in ECC and S/4 Hana
Middleware & Integration
· Experience with Middleware tools like SnapLogic, PI/PO, or similar platforms
· Proven ability to integrate external platforms, services, and third-party applications with SAP.
· Experience with Integration providers like SPS Commerce or similar

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related business or technology field required
· Minimum 7 years’ experience working in a complex, customer-focused service delivery environment
· Minimum 2 years in a leadership role managing SAP solution delivery and day-to-day support.
· Proven experience leading global SAP EDI and OTC rollouts across North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific.
· In-depth knowledge of cross-functional integration with SAP modules, including MM, FI, PP, BW, and IBP.
· Hands-on experience in all SAP project lifecycle phases: Blueprint, Configuration, Testing, Training, Cutover, and Production Support.
· Deep understanding of core business processes in Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Accounts Receivable.
· Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance SAP solutions aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
· Experience working in a collaborative environment.
· Demonstrated Experience in managing teams and individuals, as well as overseeing multiple projects
