We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team.
Job summary
To assist with daily retail operation at Portmarnock Resort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers are welcomed promptly in a friendly and polite manner.
- Assist customers in store and providing information on all retail items.
- Supervise all aspects of the club's retail operations, including stock management, merchandising, and sales.
- Implement strategies to optimise sales performance and enhance the overall shopping experience for Members and guests.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing retail environment, in line with the resorts standards of excellence.
- Analyse sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing and Events, to promote retail offerings and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor activities, and make recommendations for enhancements to the retail offering.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety guidelines.
The Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience in retail, preferably in a resort, club, luxury or hospitality environment.
- Must have a passion for retail and thrive on customer interaction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
This is a Seasonal position and applicants must be fully flexible to work 5 days over a seven day roster.
