The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. HISTORY
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.
The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.
LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and off-season roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement, embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

Position Summary
The Commercial Growth Associate will play a critical role in shaping high-impact strategic initiatives that influence LIV Golf’s growth, market positioning, and long-term success. This individual will drive key projects from inception to recommendation, conducting market deep-dives and competitive analysis, developing actionable strategies, and collaborating with senior leaders across the organisation. The role will have exposure across all facets of the business, from fan engagement to content distribution to team economics.
Key Responsibilities
Competitive and Performance Analysis:
Conduct research and benchmarking on the global sports and entertainment landscape in areas such as social media presence, media rights, sponsorship, and ticketing models
Analyse and synthesise internal performance data (e.g., fan demographics, viewership, attendance, digital engagement) to diagnose performance and derive key insights on business performance and operational efficiency
Strategy and Operational Plan Development:
Build robust financial models and business cases to evaluate the ROI of strategic initiatives, capital investments, new revenue streams, and new programmes
Develop frameworks to govern and operationalise commercial processes
Support development of strategic and operational plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Tech)
Assist in the development, articulation, and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic objectives across the organisation
Prepare and deliver strategic recommendations; partner with the business to provide thought leadership in driving forward commercial agenda
Project Leadership:
Serve as central project leader for high-priority strategic projects, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and driving milestones to completion
Required Experience & Skills
Experience: 2+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate and commercial strategy in a consumer-facing business, or similar role
Analytical Prowess: Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into clear, concise business insights
Financial Modelling: Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations (PowerPoint/Google Slides) to senior leaders
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to structure complex problems, think long-term, and connect micro-level details to macro-level strategy
Interest in Industry: Ideally, passion for and strong working knowledge of the professional sports landscape
