The Specialist PGA Tour provides administrative and customer service support to TaylorMade’s PGA Tour department, which services professional golfers and VIP customers. This position is responsible for receiving, entering, and prioritizing club and/or component orders, and for maintaining the GTS ordering system.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Receives, enters, and responds to all orders and requests
- Ensures all orders are accurately entered in GTS ordering system and Viaware WMS
- Works with Sports Marketing representatives to ensure orders are accurately processed to required specifications by requested deadlines
- Prepares all paperwork necessary for timely shipment and delivery, including international shipping invoices with information required by Customs regulations
- Ensure order completion by tracking progress of orders and/or handling customer complaints from order entry to delivery to end customer
- Ensure budget cross charging is communicated to Finance and Global Sports Marketing teams to ensure proper budgets are being charged and credited as required
- Maintain GTS ordering system by monitoring and removing/adding obsolete and new/current SKU descriptions
- Create new part number and SKU descriptions for no cost promotional inventory with Planning team to be entered in drop down menus
- Provide new component details along with inventory stock labels to inventory clerk for proper inventory storage
- Builds and maintains rapport with staff and tour representatives; provides them with the best possible service
- Responds to inquiries from tour representatives and other departments concerning orders, availability, or application of product
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal and public relations skills to deal courteously and professionally with golf professionals and cross-functionally across multiple departments
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as in a fast-paced, time-sensitive team environment
- Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks is required
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
- Proficient in ViaWare WMS, and GTS ordering systems
- Passion for sports required, with passion/interest/knowledge for golf strongly preferred
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the golf industry
- 2+ years of experience in order entry
- 2+ years of experience working with Sports Marketing preferred
- Experience with, ViaWare WMS, and GTS ordering systems
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage
- Lab/warehouse conditions, exposure to irritant fumes, solvent, dirt, dust and noise
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Ability to climb, stoop, bend, carry, manually wrap and package golf related products
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials

We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $27 - $29 per hour.
