We are seeking a passionate content creator, with a focus as a Videographer, to capture the precision, performance, and passion that defines TaylorMade Golf. As our videography specialist, you'll be a creative force behind our cameras, bringing the world of golf to life through compelling visual storytelling that showcases our cutting-edge equipment, tour professionals, and the love of golf through the brand’s lens.
From covering Tour events and capturing intimate athlete moments to creating stunning product showcases that highlight every detail of our products, you'll transform every frame into content that resonates with golfers. This role is perfect for a skilled video professional, with skills as a photographer, who thrives behind the lens and understands the artistry of golf, whether you're filming a Tour pro's swing sequence, the intricate details of club craftsmanship in our manufacturing process, or the authentic stories of everyday golfers discovering how TaylorMade products improve their game.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Create short and long form video content, with fast turnarounds, for digital needs.
- Operate and provide troubleshooting of video cameras, audio and lighting equipment
- Final editing using Final Cut X, After Effects, and other industry standard software.
- Video post-production tasks which include backing up media, reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustment, sound design and color correction.
- Capture on-course athlete and landscape photography.
- Along with other content creators, provide support on product, athlete and brand projects while finding opportunities to be creative and proactive, thinking outside the box.
- Create and supply social visual content to the social team on a regular basis based on briefs and through taking initiative.
- Work alongside the marketing teams to coordinate visual content needs in collaboration with the content calendar, product launches, campaigns and events.
- Support social team with their graphical needs, including infographics and other layouts.
- Provide editing services for internal and brand activations as and when needed.
- Ensure the equipment is maintained and cared for in a professional manner in conjunction with any in-house studio made available to you.
- Provide photography services for internal and brand activations as and when needed.
- Work with and supply the wider digital team visual content to support email and web campaigns.
- Shoot product photography in studio and/or in environmental settings, including post touch-ups
- Provide general photography, video and design services to the wider marketing team as and when needed.
- Attend PGA and LPGA Tour events where required to capture photography/video of our product, athletes, players, course landscapes, sports marketing team, etc.
- Provide regular asset uploads to the company designated DAM on a regular basis for social media content and other uses.
- Adhere to PGA Tour guidelines and brand ID standards when capturing content on 3rd party properties.
- Perform other related responsibilities as required.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Experience with Final Cut X, Premiere, Lightroom, After Effects
- Excellent Adobe CS skills including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understanding of color grading and color correction.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with ability to effectively present and promote creative work
- A keen eye for detail and a critical mind with strong compositional and typographical skills
- Passionate about content creation and social media. Thorough knowledge of social network platforms with a passion for learning and experimenting with new tools and technologies
- Must be a team player and able to work independently. Ability to both direct and take direction.
- Must work exceptionally well with others. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines. This expands to file/media organization.
- Familiar with industry trends and equipment.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies quickly in the moment.
- Experience working on motion graphics is a plus.
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- BA degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Media, Marketing or similar preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in content creation (video, photo and graphics)
- Experience working with Sony Mirrorless Cameras or equivalent.
- Camera experience and ability to shoot video is preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office environment, consistent computer use
- Some domestic travel required (estimated 5%) in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
- Ability to potentially walk and carry camera equipment over long periods of time.
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
