PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking a Quality Engineer that will be responsible for coordinating/improving global quality management processes and addressing quality issues on materials and products produced for PING. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

YOU WILL:
- Participate in Process Engineering DFAs and issue resolution and Quality Engineering Reviews: Design CTQ Attributes, Process FMEA, Product Development (Pre-PILOT, PILOT, 1st PROD).
- Build in Quality: Manufacturing Control Plans, Work Instructions, CTQ billboards/checklists.
- Lead Inspection/Assembly Optimization Projects: Measurement System Analysis (R&R, Correlation, Accuracy, Linearity, Stability); Statistical Quality Control (Acceptance Sampling, Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments); Equipment/process optimization.
- Utilize quality performance assessment tools & reporting: Quality snapshot templates, supplier certificates of conformance reviews, quality scorecards. WIP and inspection register data mining and reporting. Process auditing, data mining and reporting. Customer quality feedback analysis.
- Target/limit sample reference standard management.
- Support Quality Engineering efforts globally by implementing and administering global quality management processes, addressing quality issues on materials and products produced for PING, both internally and externally. Also support Quality Engineering management as directed to improve Quality Systems and PING operations/business systems infrastructure, including Infor M3 transition.
- Administer and maintain the following Quality Performance Assessment & Reporting Tools: Inspection Register, Quality Snapshot Templates, Measurement System Register, Limit Sample Matrix, Supplier Certificates of Conformance Reviews, MRB Reporting and Quality Scorecards.
- Product review facilitator (pre-Launch).
- Create, revise and manage quality plans (per product type).
- MRB and change control facilitator.
- Be responsible for remaining current within area of expertise, not only relative to the market, but in relation to known published advances in the pertinent body of knowledge.
- Be available for international travel, primarily to and from the U.S. and Asia.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline from a properly accredited College or University; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven communication, interpersonal, organizational and team skills with the ability to gain consensus.
- Demonstrated ability to participate and in some cases manage, focus and lead small cross-disciplinary business meetings.
- Proven ability to coordinate a moderate level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS, PowerPoint), working knowledge of MS SharePoint.
- Familiarity with the game of golf and the Golf Industry.
