PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking an IT Security Analyst who will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security threats, ensuring the protection of sensitive data, and implementing best practices for information security. This position requires strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and the ability to respond to security incidents effectively. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

YOU WILL:
- Continuously monitor network traffic and security systems for irregularities, potential vulnerabilities, and security incidents.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches, including identifying the cause, containing the incident, and performing post-incident analysis.
- Conduct regular security assessments, and vulnerability scans to identify weaknesses in the system.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's information systems.
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities to stay ahead of potential risks.
- Utilize and manage security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards such as HIPAA, and NIST 800-53 r5. Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance and identify gaps.
- Generate reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threat trends to senior management, and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
- Work closely with IT teams, management, and external vendors to enhance the security infrastructure of the organization.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, from a properly accredited college or university, plus a minimum of 1 year experience in information security or information technology roles. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) are highly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to interact with other technical team members and non-technical business partners.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess threats and vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with security tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), firewalls, endpoint security, and IDS/IPS.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.) and firewall configurations.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Nexpose).
- Experience with cloud security and securing cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools like Rapid7, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating security tasks.
- Understanding incident response frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS).
- Proficient using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance.
