PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking a Digital Marketing Software Engineer 2 that will serve as the lead technical resource for Digital Marketing, and work with other developers to code, develop, and test technical solutions across multiple web applications and properties as it relates to the needs of the Digital Marketing team. This role requires a blend of advanced programming skills and a creative mindset to design, implement, and evaluate software that enhances our online presence and customer engagement, all while ensuring web development practices are meeting company compliance standards. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

YOU WILL:
- Design, code, and develop end-to-end technical solutions across multiple an array of web proprieties and applications.
- Help ensure data protection/management and site accessibility practices are met and maintained to the compliance standards set by the legal department.
- Act as the subject matter expert for web accessibility, ensuring all digital properties meet WCAG and ADA compliance standards through technical implementation and audits.
- Own the strategy and technical execution of cookie consent and script management across all PING domains, including compliant integration of marketing technologies
- Stay update-to-date on evolving web accessibility standards, data privacy regulations, and consent management technologies to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development issues that arise across multiple web properties and applications.
- Implement, test, and maintain marketing technologies across all PING web prosperities. This includes cross-application integrations.
- Serve as a code reviewer for cross-functional team projects to ensure design and architecture standards are met and maintained.
- Design and maintain data warehouses and integrate them into various marketing technologies.
- Estimate project hours and communicate the estimated effort to the Digital Marketing Manager. Provide ongoing updates to project progress and roadblocks.
- Create and maintain proper project documentation and files.
- Test and verify code meets quality standards for the project.
- Serve as a team-member who helps define software architecture for a project, and at times be a lead architect.
- Participate in testing and project deployment as a cross-functional team member.
- Operate as the technical lead on the Digital Marketing Team and work as a member within a development team environment.
- Develop and refine software for email marketing campaigns, including automated sends and personalized content.
- Conduct A/B testing or multivariate testing to optimize website and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to understand their needs and deliver software solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in digital marketing and development.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a properly accredited college or university; minimum of 2 years’ experience in a software development role; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Comfortability with a modern version control system such as Subversion, Git or Mercurial
- Familiar with programming best practices (naming conventions, coding standards, architecture)
- Experience with agile methodologies and Dev ops environments.
- Familiarity with various data warehouse formats
- Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal and team skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Drive of a self-starter who works effectively in fast environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and keep up with the administrative requirements of the position.
- Intermediate level of computer literacy of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel).
- Knowledge of multiple mobile apps (iOS and android) and web technology stacks (REACT, Node, JavaScript)
- Proficiency in relevant web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, and others.
- Experience with SQL querying is a plus.
- Experience with various marketing platforms and tools, particularly Segment.io, Customer.io, and Google Marketing Platforms, including their APIs is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Experience with User Experience (UX) design principles is a plus.
