Responsible for program operations of Player Engagement initiatives, including Drive, Chip & Putt, PGA Jr. League, and PGA Family Golf. Success will be measured by the growth of participants and host facilities, net promoter scores of participants and PGA Coaches, and PGA Section satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
Contribute to the development of strategic plans for Player Engagement.
Contribute to the growth, management, and success of PGA North Stars and department priorities.
Collaborate and coordinate program operations with all internal and external stakeholders.
Program Operations includes but is not limited to program resources, training, communications, technology, coach and consumer support, policies and procedures, event support, and contributing to all aspects of program implementation and execution.
Manage the daily operations for Drive, Chip & Putt, including:
Contribute to strategy and growth by actively participating in Task Force meetings with the PGA’s founding partners
Collaborate with the 41 PGA Sections on scheduling, marketing, and operating all aspects of the Local, Sub-Regional, and Regional Qualifier pathway
Support PGA Jr. League operations, including:
Collaborate with stakeholders on coordinating Local League, All-Star Season, and Off-Season program operations.
Deliverables include program resources, training, communications, customer support, industry partnerships, and Committee priorities.
Support daily operations of additional initiatives, including but not limited to PGA Family Golf, PGA Camps, and any new department initiatives.
Collaborate with the departments and teammates within the PGA of America to execute responsibilities.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Assist with the development of the annual budget for the Player Engagement department. Contribute to the overall strategy, budget and operations of the Player Engagement department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in sports management, business, professional golf management, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
5 years’ experience in program management and industry, PGA of America and/or PGA Section operations
PGA Professional preferred
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Must have knowledge of the youth sports and golf industries. Strong interpersonal and relationship building with golf/sports industry organizations strongly preferred. Knowledge of Google Workspace.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
