This is a Contingent Worker position based out of the Frisco office, with a hybrid work schedule requiring three days in the office each week. Please note, relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer plays an essential role in designing and assuring excellence in the execution of graphic design and digital graphics concepts for multimedia collateral and platforms. This includes the development, delivery, management and continuous improvement of the PGA brand initiatives and marketing collateral for both internal and external projects as well as clients’ specific needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
Collaborate on brand exploration, development and drive execution of creative direction to improve conceptual representations of promotion, advertisements and marketing strategies.
Support Sr. Graphic Designer to oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery.
Design original pieces, from print, advertisements, environmental/onsite signage digital, web and social media.
Develop and produce style guides for the association programs and championship.
Meet/Work with directors, managers, technology and content/marketing teams across the association to determine the scope of the project and elevate/evolve the PGA brand aesthetic within the scope of work.
Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services with the scope of the brand.
Work with stakeholders to maintain brand consistency throughout all our association, marketing and championship projects.
Coordinate with content/marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Produce and deliver files correctly and accurately for print or digital.
Review color proofs for quality and accuracy and conducts press checks as needed.
Maintain a working knowledge of current design software and hardware so that tools are used in the most
productive way possible.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in Graphic Design or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Four years of experience in graphic design, digital or multimedia design, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience producing high-quality design materials from initial concept through production to delivery of finalized materials.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Job Knowledge/Technology: Must have knowledge of layout designs for multimedia designs, from print, digital, web and social media. Must have knowledge of corporate standards and branding implementation. Be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs. Knowledge of photography and digital asset management tools. Proficient in Mac computer operating systems and knowledge of MS office products and Google Workspace.
