Partnership Sales Planning Manager
Location: Wentworth
Full time / Permanent
Who We Are:
The European Tour group administers golf’s global Tour - the DP World Tour - the HotelPlanner Tour, Legends Tour and the G4D Tour (golf for the disabled), as well as golf’s greatest team contest, the Ryder Cup.
The Role:
The European Tour Group is looking for a strategic and creative Partnership Sales Planning Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping how the Ryder Cup and DP World Tour present their commercial story to the world. This is an opportunity to influence the way golf’s most powerful platforms connect with global brands, translating insights into compelling partnership propositions that deliver real business impact.
Sitting at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and creativity, you will lead the development of tailored partnership narratives that resonate with target sectors and brands. Your work will transform audience data, market intelligence, and brand positioning into persuasive proposals that articulate the “why” behind every partnership, connecting objectives to assets, activation ideas, and measurable outcomes.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across insight and research, graphic design, presentation development, and sales to ensure every pitch is visually engaging, strategically sound, and commercially persuasive. From leading internal workshops to shape bespoke campaigns and activations, to crafting storytelling frameworks that bring our propositions to life, you will be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on creator.
You will also champion best practice across the sales team, embedding modular content and storytelling approaches that drive consistency and efficiency. Maintaining brand alignment and quality will be central to your work, ensuring every proposal reflects the tone, values, and creative direction of the Ryder Cup and DP World Tour.
What you will bring:
We are seeking a candidate with at least five years’ experience in marketing, strategy, sponsorship, or commercial development, ideally within an agency, brand, or rights-holder environment. You should have a proven track record of developing compelling proposals and strategic partnerships that delivered measurable results. Strong understanding of brand marketing, sponsorship strategy, and audience insight is essential, along with exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas into persuasive narratives. Proficiency in PowerPoint and experience working with creative teams to bring stories to life visually are key.
If you are a strategic and creative thinker with a strong sense of commercial logic, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to help shape the future of golf’s most iconic properties, we’d love to hear from you.
The European Tour group promote diversity, equality, and inclusion. We ensure that we make employment decisions by matching our business needs with skills and experience of candidates, regardless of anything.
