The Quinta do Lago Group is currently recruiting candidates for the position of Senior Accounting Technician (M/F), to carry out tasks within their area of expertise
- Solid experience in the role or similar positions, preferably in the hospitality/tourism sector;
- Higher Education – Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Management, or Business Administration;
- Certified Accountant;
- Knowledge of PHC Management Software (preferred);
- Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Good command of English;
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, responsibility, dynamism, resilience, good level of communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and classify accounting documents;
- Ensure all documents are properly registered in accordance with the Accounting Standardization System (SNC);
- Post all financial transactions in the management software, ensuring each entry is accurate and compliant with accounting standards;
- Management of current accounts;
- Moniter accounts, analyse balances, and perform reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy;
- Performe bank reconciliations;
- Prepare financial reports;
- Produce financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, provide essential information for strategic decision-making by company management;
- Ensure the company meets all its tax obligations, including preparation and submission of tax returns within established deadlines;
- Work closely with the group’s certified accountant, providing all necessary information and assisting in financial analysis and management;
- Support the consolidation of the Group’s accounts.
