The Quinta do Lago Group is currently seeking Gardeners (M/F) to join the Q-Landscape Department, responsible for the maintenance and construction of landscaped areas.
- Previous experience in gardening or green space maintenance.
- Knowledge of botany, cultivation techniques, and plant care.
- Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery.
- Good physical condition and stamina for outdoor work.
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Relevant training or qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planting, pruning, irrigation, fertilisation, and pest control tasks.
- Maintain lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers in optimal condition.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment (e.g. lawnmowers, chainsaws, irrigation systems).
- Prepare soil and carry out plant transplanting.
- Identify and treat plant diseases and pests.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of green spaces.
- Collaborate in the design and implementation of landscaping projects.
- Comply with safety and environmental regulations during all activities.
