Role Job Description:
This role is based within the clubhouse shop and supports the senior golf team with the smooth running of the Pro-shop and golf related services.
As a member of the operations team, this role will provide broad training and experience of operating an international golf destination and modern membership club.
Working with golf, retail and event, and alongside hospitality, food and beverage and hotel teams on the delivery of 5-star guest experiences for golfers, members, residents, visitors and guests, this is a retail, sales, service and delivery role that requires a demonstrable commitment and passion for golf.
The role operates on a shift-based system including weekend working in line with the seasonal needs of the business.

Reports to: Director of Golf
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Key duty to support the pro shop retail functions including stock management, displays, ordering and selling
- Assist with the day-to-day Pro-shop, bookings and golfer’s check-in experience
- Opportunity to support, promote and deliver high quality coaching for individuals, guests, members and groups
- Assist with junior and youth coaching programmes throughout the year
- Provide club repairs services to the highest level and standard
- Support the delivery of all golf operations and functions including events, group bookings and club activities to ensure that exceptional 5-star services are delivered at all times
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of all products and services on offer within the resort
- Promote and upsell packages, events, memberships and site wide facilities and services
- Support membership retention and growth through proactive communications and activities
- Any other duties required by management to ensure the smooth operation of the business and delivery of 5-star services
Qualifying Criteria:
- Commitment to PGA qualifications and training
- Excellent communicator with a passion for golf, retail and sales
- Professional and confident manner with an outgoing personality
- Commitment to high quality standards and keen eye for detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding customer-facing environment
- Team player with an ability to multi-task and work independently
- Positive and flexible approach to work
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
- Full, clean, driving license
