The Coordinator, Content Programming will support the planning, evaluation, and execution of content across PGA TOUR platforms. This candidate will help PGA TOUR Content leadership ensure that content is coordinated across teams, timely, relevant, and aligned with strategic goals by managing the team’s content programming calendar. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented digital native with a passion for sports storytelling and a strong understanding of content trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required: Marketing, Journalism, Media or Communications preferred.
- 2 years relevant experience in fast-paced environment, preferably in production, agency, publishing, or editorial operations.
- Self-starter with proven ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects to meet deadlines under pressure in a team environment
- Detail oriented with solid organizational, communication and intrapersonal skills
- Strong writing and presentation abilities including grammar, style and spelling
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of current social and digital platform landscape, including relevant performance metrics and trends
- Commitment to a high-quality work product that meets and exceeds brand and fan standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during key events
- Background in golf preferred; interest in golf required.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Daily management of content calendars across PGA TOUR platforms, ensuring accuracy of all documents by collaborating across content leadership.
- Creation of presentations and one-sheets around content ideas and programming for internal and external stakeholders, including Communications, Media Sales and Corporate Partnerships.
- Actively participate in scheduled team brainstorm and planning meetings, providing efficient/timely notes and facilitating next steps to the content team.
- Collaborate with content creators, producers and platform leads to ensure timely delivery and publishing of assets.
- Participate in performance tracking to inform future programming decisions, flagging efforts that aren’t meeting objectives for review.
- Support cross-functional initiatives including fan engagement campaigns and branded or sponsored content.
- Monitor live events and breaking news to adjust programming in real time.
- Support other duties, special projects, and cross-functional tasks as assigned.
