We’re looking for an innovative, people-first Head Golf Professional to lead our dynamic operation and help usher in a new era of the game. If you’re passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences, mentoring staff, and thinking beyond traditional golf, let’s talk.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the daily golf operation including tournaments, tee sheets, merchandising, range, cart fleet, and player services
- Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing golf staff, setting the tone for an energetic and welcoming culture
- Partner closely with our Superintendent and F&B Manager to ensure seamless operations
- Provide instruction and clinics to members and guests
- Manage budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and expense control
- Elevate the guest experience and ensure exceptional service at every touchpoint
- Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management of golf associates
- Utilize data collection tools (e.g., Troon Rewards) to understand our guests and drive business
- Plan for forecasted business volume in staffing, productivity, and expenses
- Promote safe work practices and maintain a clean, professional environment
- Serve as an ambassador of innovation in golf—supporting both tradition and evolution
Who You’ll Lead:

- Assistant & Associate Golf Professionals
- Teaching Professionals
- Tournament Coordinators
- Guest Services Attendants
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of progressive golf operations experience; multi-course experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PGA/LPGA Class A membership preferred (not required)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS, and tee sheet systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
