Specific Responsibilities:
- Informs
guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
Suggest
food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to
upsell. - Take
food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of
sale (POS) system.
- Greets
guests and presents them with the menu when applicable.
Process
payment transactions. - Clear
and reset table settings and linens, as needed.
- Performing
basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Communicate
to the guest and provide assistance with questions.
- Coordinate
with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest
satisfaction.
- Observes
guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
- Promptly
respond to guest with any additional request.
- Maintaining
proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs,
offering
desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling
glasses. - Prepare
mixed drinks for service to your customers table when applicable (must be
18 or over and licensed).
- Understands
and can communicate products and services available at the resort.
- Assist
with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side
station.
- Help
other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating
guests.
This is a seasonal position working weekdays and
weekends with shifts ranging from 5:00am-11:00pm.
Skills/Requirements
- 2+
years of previous Serving or Bartending experience, preferred
- We are
looking for an applicant who is at least 18 years of age and has the
ability to obtain their Learn 2 Serve Certificate upon hire.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $11.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
