Responsibilities
The overall responsibility for the training, development and motivation of the Conference & Banqueting Team.
To ensure that the Team Members arrive for work on time, meeting the Standard Dress Code in terms of their Uniform and Appearance.
To develop, introduce and monitor the systems and procedures used within the Department.
To monitor all confirmed bookings to ensure that all the necessary details in regard to the layout, food & beverage, equipment requirements are finalised.
To offer advice, assistance, and training to the Conference & Banqueting Team.
To review each member of the Team on an Annual Basis in conjunction with the Human Resources Department on their Performance.
To assist in the planning, design and implementation of new Menus, Brochures, Advertising Campaigns, Wedding Fairs etc.
To monitor Conference & Banqueting Charges/Facilities/Initiatives etc. of our Competitor Hotels and to make proposals to Senior Management as appropriate.
To deal with any issues, complaints or confrontational issues which arise immediately, liaising with Senior Management and giving the necessary feedback to those concerned.
To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other person on the premises.
To promote the Customer Care policy at all times.
To carry out any other reasonable tasks if required to do so.

Minimum of two years experience n a similar role
