Job Description
SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious resort located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist Trainee to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to kickstart your career in the hospitality industry while learning from experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
- Assist in welcoming and greeting guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Learn to process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel's property management system
- Support the front desk team in handling guest inquiries and requests
- Assist in managing room assignments and maintaining accurate guest records
- Learn to handle basic administrative tasks, including answering phone calls and emails
- Shadow experienced staff to understand hotel operations and guest service standards
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills in customer service and hotel procedures
- Assist in promoting hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience
- Learn to handle basic financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
- Agreement with the school is required
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills in English and SpanishÂ
