GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Develops and maintains the business, manufacturing, and engineering application programs and systems that enable the company's business processes. Will review, analyze, implement, and modify systems through planning, programming, installing, testing, and debugging applications to support the company’s business, manufacturing, and engineering processes that enable our business. This position will also collaborate with business analysts, other systems analysts, and users to identify improvements and implement project objectives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Works closely with key business and information technology stakeholders to develop application architecture to improve business processes, drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
- Coach and mentor other developers and analysts on best practice and development fundamentals.
- Works with internal customers to foster and grow the company’s adoption of technology to optimize standard work and enable data driven decisions.
- Understands the business processes and flows to enable functional requirements analysis and the development of solutions for the business functions.
- Develops application systems that are cost effective and flexible in design.
- Monitors daily application health, including system uptime, responsiveness, break/fix issues and approved requests.
- Provides technical support for ERP application (InforXA) including break/fix and enhancements.
- Serves as a member of the Application Help Desk in an on-call rotation
- Provides weekend and off hours support to Operations in an on-call rotation.
- Uses knowledge to support the corporate and business unit's IT and business strategies.
- Understands and can demonstrate key concepts related to SDLC in both custom applications and third-party software applications
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master’s preferred in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science
Experience:
- 4 years programming in:
- InforXA
- RPG
- IBM iSeries (AS400)
- Integrations (SOAP & REST)
- Experience in Manufacturing preferred
- Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) preferred
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
KEY COMPETENCIES
