GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This position provides comprehensive support, accountability, and ownership of Club Car’s Reporting Tools and processes, including Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau, and Alteryx. The role involves timely analysis, financial trending, actionable insights, and reporting for Club Car. Additionally, it offers general organizational support for Oracle BI applications.
Essential Job Functions:
Data Analysis: Lead and design requirements for business intelligence systems. Independently perform testing, planning, and project management related to reporting requirements. Collaborate with business units to continually improve reporting systems and data integrity within the business intelligence system.
Data Management: Support and provide guidance on data governance and data management across the organization.
System Analysis: Analyze data to provide standard and advanced business reports. Understand business needs and proactively develop business intelligence analytics. Share lessons learned with internal stakeholders and support business reporting and ad-hoc report requirements.
Project Management & Execution: Gather requirements, identify problems, and design solutions. Plan for aggressive project schedules and ensure timely rollout communications with appropriate documentation. Execute with an adaptive approach to development.
End-User Training: Deliver training on business intelligence systems. Develop and maintain training curriculum for general users and power users.
System Support: Pay keen attention to detail, solve problems, and troubleshoot the system from both operational and technical perspectives. Communicate technical issues effectively and resolve problems at all organizational levels. Monitor system utilization and support higher adoption.
Technology and Industry Trends: Learn new technology and industry trends to proactively use data to drive business and operational growth.
Business Process Understanding: Work with the team to understand data behind business processes and system enhancements that align with data strategies and business priorities.
Organizational Action: Leverage and analyze data and trends to drive growth.
Application Requirements and Testing: Assist with application requirements and lead user acceptance testing for analytical tools like OBI, Alteryx, and Tableau.
Collaboration with Finance and Sales: Work with Finance and Sales on setting and measuring rebates, unit volume goals, and performance. Set up and maintain dashboards based on business needs.
Tool Development: Assist in developing tools for offices to monitor and measure processes, including report definitions and data validation.
Continuous Improvement: Drive excellence and ensure continuous data strategy and process improvement by gathering user feedback and investigating processes for updates.
Standard Work Documentation: Develop, launch, and maintain written “Standard Work” for all responsibilities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
Experience:
3-5 years of related experience.
Experience with Tableau and Alteryx or comparable applications.
Ability to communicate and display data in a consumable format to drive business decisions.
Advanced analytical skills.
CRM or ERP exposure, with Siebel and/or Oracle experience preferred.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
High proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, HTML5, and exposure to scripting languages like JavaScript is highly desired.
Project management experience preferred.
Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Skills:
Basic programming language skills are a plus.
