Job Description - Recovery Specialist
The Recovery Specialist role is a highly valued position within the UGP system. Our team of specialists includes Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Athletic Trainers who bring their expertise to treat clients using various methods aimed at reducing pain, preventing injuries, improving movement, and enhancing golf longevity. Each Recovery Session is conducted on a one-on-one basis and lasts 45 minutes, ensuring ample time for the specialist to deliver a five-star treatment experience and achieve optimal results. Working alongside Golf Coaches and Trainers, the Specialist plays a crucial role in providing clients with holistic golf development in a high-end setting.

Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree/Doctor of Chiropractic Degree/Certified Athletic Trainer (ATCs)
- Training in soft tissue/joint mobilization techniques
- Specialized certifications or training in corrective exercise (e.g., Personal Training Certification, ACE, CSCS, NASM, etc. - subject to review by the hiring manager)
- Golf experience is highly preferred
- Sales experience is highly preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Upbeat, enthusiastic, empathetic, and selfless personality
- Strong time management skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Recovery Specialist is responsible for the following essential functions, among others:
- Conducting golf-specific movement assessments and skilled orthopedic examinations
- Initiating, developing, and implementing individualized development programs based on assessment results, including rehabilitation, mobility programs, and progression to our Fitness Department, to facilitate optimal golf development
- Collaborating closely with Golf and Fitness coaches to provide comprehensive support for clients' golf and personal development before, during, and after coaching sessions
- Delivering a five-star customer experience by consistently going above and beyond for each client and anticipating their needs
- Completing necessary administrative duties, such as client follow-ups, team communication, and fitness plan development
- Providing weekly performance updates to the Director of Performance
- Monitoring and maintaining the facility to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
