Golf Irrigation Territory Salesperson
High Tech Irrigation is seeking a self-motivated individual to join a great company to sell and promote all Rain Bird Golf Products and our complete line of irrigation and turf supplies. We are looking for an individual that will provide the highest level of service and support to all local golf courses in the Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara, CA market.
High Tech Irrigation is the exclusive distributor for Rain Bird Golf Products for Southern California. We are a privately owned and operated company that has been supporting the local golf industry since 1984.
Territory: Southern, CA
Job Functions:
- Services and support existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing an efficient daily work schedule.
- Assist in maximizing the efficiency of the Rain Bird Irrigation System
- Maintain and build relationships with industry personnel such as Golf Course Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, General Managers, Contactors, Consultants and Architects.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of the current market and its trends.
- Represent High Tech with the highest level of professionalism.
- Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of all products, specification, pricing, and software.
- Provide accurate and prompt quotes with timely follow up.
- Attend all local association meetings as well as the GCSAA show.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot golf course irrigation.
- Strong computer skills.
- Clean and valid driver’s license.
- Have good mechanical skills and willing to work in all conditions.
- High level of customer support.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Must play golf
