Job Title: Men’s Locker Room Attendant Department: Recreation
Reports to: Director of Recreation and/or on-duty supervisor
FLSA Classification: Non Exempt
Job Summary:
The Men’s Locker Room Attendant attends to needs of members and guests in the locker room while maintaining order and cleanliness. This person will greet guests and assure that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained. This job requires the highest standards of hospitality.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Washes and/or mops restroom floor, wipes mirrors, and walls; cleans basins, lavatories, and deep cleans showers, steam room and other special facilities and equipment in locker room.
· Vacuums carpet and rugs throughout locker room
· Restocks supplies such as tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo, razors, aftershave lotion, etc.
· Performs services, for example: clean shoes, adjusts mirrors, etc.
· Provides for the safety and security of all members and guests
· Maintains inventory of supplies.
· Changes towels as needed and transports towels to and from the laundry area.
· Issues locker, keys, towels, etc., to members and guests, as needed.
· Maintains a list of occupied lockers.
· Cleans and empties garbage cans and baskets.
· Answers radio and telephone calls. Takes and delivers phone messages for members and guests.
· Remains attentive of radios and follows through with communication to teams.
· Cleans and maintains the steam room area.
· Maintains coffee and beverage and supplies; makes coffee; cleans beverage area as needed.
· Performs deep cleaning tasks as needed.
· Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supplies on a daily basis.
· Receives and greets members and guests in a friendly, welcoming and pleasant manner.
· Respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
· Completes other assignments made by the locker room supervisor.
· No supervisory duties are included in this position.

Education and Experience:
· At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking; bend stoop, squat, kneel, bend at the knees, reach above the head, and climb and balance on a step ladder.
· Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up 50 pounds.
