Early days as an assistant in the mid 1980's at Hope Plantation which is now Oak Point just outside of Kiawah Island, SC under the direction of John Roperta, PGA. After about 4 years or so I moved on to married life, giving up professional golf for the next several years for another career. Fast forward to early 2021 after raising a family I sold my interest out of a private company. With the green light from my amazing wife I then went to work at Palmetto Hall Golf and Country Club on Hilton head Island for just under two years as an Assistant Professional. My wife and I then Moved to NC in 2023 and I started a Golf Non-Profit for at risk kids and also taught Operation 36 under Wes Jones, PGA Head Professional and Owner of Silver Creek Golf Club in Morganton, NC. I was subsequently offered a part time Assistant Position, which I accepted at Bermuda Run Golf Club in Advance, NC under the direction of Mary Thomas, PGA, Director of Golf along with Casey Cline, PGA, Director of Instruction. I am vigorously pursing my PGA level 3.1 and have just recently received the the Associate designation as a category B-8.
