About
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa (This is the equivalent to a CPA in the States). My work experience includes 3 years in auditing and assurance, 2 years in financial management at a listed property fund, and 9 years to date at a private equity fund management business where I now head up our asset management division and participate closely in capital raising, due diligence and project management roles. I also serve on our investment committee.
Needless to say, I am absolutely obsessed with golf. In my spare time I follow all the major professional tours as well as Youtube golf channels. I like to listen to golf podcasts covering instruction, course design, equipment, statistics and more.
Though I am not certified in the industry as a playing or teaching professional, nor have any direct experience in the golf industry - I believe my passion and general knowledge of the game, from various different angles, coupled with my experience in business and general management and finance will make the perfect fit for many businesses in the sector in a number of strategic positions.
I possess excellent people and presentation skills, I am a hard worker, but still always have time for a laugh. I believe that I am extremely fun to work with while I lead by example and able to get things done effectively.
