About

With an extensive background in sports and as the Chief Executive of the PGA of South Africa for just over 13-years from 2011 to 2024, I have the required executive leadership and strategic alignment to offer my skills and expertise.

My humble leadership demeanour has built strong relationships within South Africa and globally.

My role as Chief Executive was extensive and managed within a strategic plan for the Association. This covered full accountability for the financial aspects of the business from budgeting through to finalisation of the Audit, implementation of the Memorandum of Incorporation and regulations of the Association while directly managing the business units of education and training, sponsorship, events, and membership.

I am proud of the relationships that I have built globally that has seen the PGA of South Africa as an integral member of the PGA World Alliance, an increase in the number of members working globally and the implementation of projects within Africa on behalf of the R&A and IGF.

• Strategic Vision: I have a track record of formulating and executing long-term strategies that drive organizational growth and profitability.

• Team Leadership: I have a history of building high-performing teams and cultivating a culture of collaboration and excellence. I believe in empowering employees to reach their full potential and fostering a workplace that values transformation, diversity and inclusion.

• Financial Acumen: I have consistently delivered strong financial results, optimizing revenue streams, controlling costs, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. This includes the effective management of the monthly and annual financial reporting from budget creation to management accounts to the annual audit and financial statements.

• Customer Focus: I understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences through exemplary relationship management and customer feedback through focused annual reviews. I pride myself on my ability to communicate effectively enhancing on the relationships built with the membership of the PGA, individual customers and/or their businesses.

• Hospitality. My past experiences in hospitality have been rewarding and my overall strengths align to success within the industry. I offer a unique and strong set of skills that produce excellent results.

• Sponsorship and Events. I have the proven ability to conceptualise an idea, format a proposal and to acquire the sponsorship to deliver a successful event from idea to conclusion. I offer personal relationship management with a firm belief in mutually beneficial relationships that deliver what was agreed upon.

• Transformation. As a proud South African with Italian heritage who is grateful for the diverse upbringing afforded to him, I have compassion and empathy for those less fortunate than myself. I have the ability to empathise with others and pride myself on my successes to date through mentorship and the implementation of transformative objectives.

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of any business I will join and bring fresh perspectives to the executive team. I believe that my passion for sport and travel, coupled with my strategic mindset and leadership skills, can drive innovation and excellence across any business.
