Central to achieving our ambitions, we seek a passionate and qualified Greenkeeper to help us realise our goal of becoming a firmly established England Top 100 course.

Overview of Role

Experience in greenkeeping, machinery operation and health and safety will put you at an advantage. Industry qualifications are not a necessity, however, a NVQ 2 or equivalent in greenkeeping will be beneficial.

You must enjoy working as part of a team, supporting both your senior and junior colleagues and have a flexible approach to working hours including weekends on a rota basis.

A strong work ethic, pride in your work and a desire to develop your knowledge, combined with good communication skills and a level of fitness that enables you to work outside and be mobile for large parts of the day.

Assist the Head Greenkeeper in the preparation and maintenance of the golf course to the highest standard
Sufficient work experience in operating all common turf maintenance machinery
Knowledge of basic machinery maintenance
Have pride in your work and an eye for detail
Enhance the natural environment in which the course exists
Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rota
Basic understanding of the game of golf
