PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking an ERP Developer that will play a critical role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of PING’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role encompasses full-cycle ERP software development, including small enhancements, complex customizations, and enterprise-scale feature development. The ERP Developer will collaborate with ERP Analysts, Trainers, Support Specialists, and business leaders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly ERP solutions that support PING’s global operations. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

YOU WILL:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ERP customizations, extensions, and modules — ranging from small configuration updates to large, full-featured ERP functionality — to meet business requirements and enhance system performance.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and implement high-quality, maintainable ERP code that aligns with business and technical standards.
- Partner closely with ERP Analysts, Trainers, and Support Specialists to ensure new features and customizations meet functional requirements, maintain data integrity, and enhance user productivity.
- Develop intuitive ERP user interfaces that simplify workflows and enhance usability across diverse business functions.
- Perform comprehensive testing of ERP customizations, interfaces, and updates to validate stability, accuracy, and performance prior to release.
- Monitor and optimize ERP system performance, improving speed, reliability, and resource utilization.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with support teams to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation covering system configurations, customizations, APIs, and workflows to ensure transparency and maintainability.
- Collaborate with ERP Trainers to develop educational materials and demonstrations for new ERP functionalities and system changes.
- Participate in project planning and execution by providing development estimates, technical insight, and progress reporting.
- Research and evaluate emerging ERP technologies, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve ERP architecture and development standards.
- Coordinate with ERP teams in other regions to ensure alignment on standards, share reusable components, and maintain a cohesive global ERP ecosystem.
- Execute ERP development initiatives autonomously within the team, while coordinating with other teams as necessary to align priorities and cross-functional impacts.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field, from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum 4 years’ directly related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to professionally present products to customers with professionalism, conviction, and complete product knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work independently with some technical guidance.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks assigned during the workday.
- Solid understanding of software applications, operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with agile methodologies and Dev ops environments.
- Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations, including balancing operational efficiency and data analysis with high quality standards and a sense of what is “right” for the customer.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL database, querying, profiling, and performance tuning.
- Possess a high level of computer literacy of MS Office Suite (Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Must be adaptable to new technologies and be willing to learn new software applications, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with additional Infor products is a plus.
