Position Summary:
The Vice President of Club Fitting will be responsible for leading and expanding GOLFTEC’s club fitting business globally. This executive will define and execute the strategy to make GOLFTEC the industry leader in personalized club fitting, driving growth through innovation, enhanced training, strategic OEM partnerships, and operational excellence across all centers.
Reporting directly to the SVP, Commerce, this role combines strategic vision, operational discipline, and leadership acumen to transform GOLFTEC’s club fitting business into a world-class platform that integrates seamlessly with coaching, retail, and omni-channel sales.
The VP will directly oversee the VP of Club Fitting Operations, two Regional Directors, and the Demo Club Program, while working cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Learning & Development to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year business plan for club fitting growth and profitability.
- Define the strategic roadmap to establish GOLFTEC as the global benchmark in club fitting service and technology.
- Drive omni-channel integration, connecting in-center fitting, e-commerce, and data-driven client engagement.
- Lead the transition to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems to improve order accuracy, speed, and OEM communication.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, technologies, and partnerships that support long-term scalability.
Operational Excellence
- Partner with Regional Directors of Operations to optimize fitting bay utilization, scheduling, and event planning.
- Implement operational standards and consistency across all GOLFTEC centers.
- Manage and evolve the Demo Club Program, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with fitting goals.
- Drive local and national fitting events to build brand visibility and generate incremental sales.
Sales Growth & Training
- Develop and oversee advanced training programs to enhance Coaches’ ability to deliver best-in-class fitting experiences and increase sales performance.
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to establish a Club Fitting Certification Program for all Coaches.
- Partner with Sales leadership to build a performance-based culture focused on customer experience, conversion, and retention.
- Lead initiatives to grow average revenue per fitting, overall club sales, and customer lifetime value.
OEM Partnerships & Industry Relations
- Build and strengthen relationships with major golf OEMs to enhance collaboration, co-marketing, and product access.
- Negotiate vendor agreements to optimize pricing, delivery, and program value.
- Create joint business plans with OEM partners to expand inventory access, training, and promotional support.
Financial Management & Accountability
- Own and manage the Club Fitting P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
- Establish clear KPIs and metrics aligned with executive-level goals for growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze business performance and present actionable insights to the management team.
Brand Integration & Marketing Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to position GOLFTEC as the global leader in club fitting.
- Ensure center-level marketing, merchandising, and promotional activities reinforce the club fitting brand narrative.
- Drive creative campaigns and events that increase awareness, engagement, and appointment volume.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue Growth: Year-over-year increases in total club fitting and equipment sales.
- Conversion Performance: Improved fitting-to-sale ratios across all centers.
- Training Completion: 100% Coach certification in advanced fitting curriculum.
- Operational Utilization: Increased fitting bay usage and appointment availability.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintenance of high NPS and repeat purchase rates.
- OEM Partnerships: Strengthened relationships resulting in higher support, access, and joint marketing impact.

- Experience: 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in golf retail, OEM, or golf service industries, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive role.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of club fitting, golf equipment technology, and customer experience in premium service environments.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional and regional teams with measurable success.
- Business Acumen: Strong financial and strategic planning capability, including budget ownership and P&L management.
- Relationships: Established partnerships or strong connections with leading golf OEMs preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
