Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance, the Corporate Finance Director is responsible for the proper budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all income statements and balance sheet line items of the financial statements. In addition, this individual is responsible for driving in-depth financial analysis, strategic planning, and strategic decision support for the senior leaders in the organization. A successful applicant will ultimately possess strong work ethic, drive, and adaptability in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the budget process for all business units to meet reporting requirements of parent company and operational needs.
- Overall management of financial decision support for key stakeholders including financial plan evaluation, coordination, and productivity/efficiency planning and implementation.
- Develop, implement, and distribute comprehensive monthly reporting packages for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and automate financial systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization to improve insight and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated track record of leadership, development, and mentorship that leads to the growth of a finance team.
- Serve as an intermediary between senior leadership of GOLFTEC Enterprises and the parent company located in Japan.
- Ensures that company financial records are maintained in compliance with US GAAP.
- Leads via example by jumping in to help the team through challenging situations.
- Embraces personal leadership development, with an openness to stretch and pursue leadership range and flexibility.
- Partner with leadership to develop a roadmap for enhancing financial reporting, reporting analytics, and systems administration processes.
- Bachelor's degree and/or experience in Finance, Investment Banking, or Accounting
- 10+ years of total work experience, including 5+ years of experience leading a team of finance professionals
- Experience presenting complex financial data to senior executives
- Publicly traded companies experience preferred
- Familiarity with robust ERP & reporting software (Adaptive, NetSuite, Oracle, Planful, etc)
- Outstanding attention to detail and a high level of organization
- Effective at multitasking and prioritization to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
