We’re looking for an adventurous Junior Drone Operator to join our operations team. You’ll travel across the UK, Europe, and beyond to capture survey-grade data of some of the world’s most iconic golf courses.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete aerial and ground-based data acquisition, capturing high-quality mapping data with drones and survey-grade GPS.
- Manage every stage of flight operations, including risk assessments, regulatory compliance, permissions, and logistics.
- Safely operate modern enterprise drone platforms and other professional survey systems.
- Representing Future Aerial on site and via email, interacting with clients, course managers and golfers
- Support the operations and processing teams with data uploads and quality control.
What We’re Looking For
- Certified drone pilot with A2CofC (Ideally GVC, Part 107 or international equivalent).
- Strong understanding of drones (aerial mapping experience is a bonus).
- UK-based, with the right to work in the UK, a valid passport, and a clean driving licence.
- A self-starter with great communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to execute projects across diverse course environments and conditions (early starts, changing weather, travel days).
- Understanding of the golf course environment (etiquette and on-course protocols).
- A genuine desire for frequent international travel, sometimes at short notice.
