ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Job Purpose
To create a best-in-class golf experience for all members and their invited guests across golf retail, operations, coaching and custom fitting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provide best-in-class golf hospitality to members and their invited guests.
· Build strong relationships with members through exceptional communication.
· Liaise with the golf operations team & starters with necessary communications to ensure smooth running of the daily golf operation.
· Maximise retail sales through merchandising, product knowledge and up-selling.
· Administer the daily club tee sheet and competitions via JONAS and Golf Genius.
· Provide a world class custom fitting experience with Trackman technology, in keeping with being a Mizuno regional fitting centre and stockist of Titleist, Taylormade and Callaway.
· Manage custom fitting availability and schedule custom fittings through ProAgenda to maximise utilisation.
· Utilise Golf Genius Golf Shop to enhance our custom order experience.
· Assist in the daily golf operation to include starter, marshalling, bag store, driving range.
· Coordinate and deliver golf tuition (when eligible) in line with the philosophy of other Bearwood Lakes professionals.
· Represent and act as an ambassador for Bearwood Lakes.
· Uphold a 5-star appearance in accordance with company guidelines.
· Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and Club policies.
Candidate Profile
Required Skills & Experience
· Registered PGA Trainee or Training Applicant.
· Previous experience working in the golf industry.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to demonstrate exceptional levels of member service.
· Effective time management and punctuality.
· Possesses a flexible approach to working as part of a team and individually.
· Positive attitude.
· Professional conduct and appearance.
· Passionate about the golf industry and career development.
· Competence in IT.
Preferred but not Essential
· Prior use of Jonas Systems and Golf Genius.
· Previous experience in coaching and custom fitting.
· Up-to-date product knowledge of a range of golf hardware and apparel brands.
· PGA Level 2 coaching qualified.
· Prior use of Trackman or other launch monitors.
