We are looking for a dedicated Ball Collector to join our team at the Rossendale site to help maintain the smooth operation of our driving range facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect golf balls efficiently using push collectors and machinery, especially during peak times and winter months.
- Ensure an adequate supply of balls in the range machines to support uninterrupted practice sessions.
- Assist with unplugging range balls in the winter and manual collection when needed.
- Help maintain the driving range environment by picking up litter and empty baskets.
- Support the team with basic range maintenance, including setting out range tees and range mats.
- Report any equipment issues to management for timely repair or maintenance.
- Work flexible hours including weekends, early mornings, and public holidays to keep the range operational.
What You Bring:
- Passion for Golf: A love for the game (or a desire to learn!) that you can share with customers.
- Retail and Sales Skills: Previous experience in retail or sales, especially in customer service roles, with a friendly, professional approach.
- Eye for Detail: A keen focus on maintaining high standards in visual merchandising and shop-floor appearance.
- Team Player Attitude: A positive, can-do approach, ready to support team goals and work collaboratively.
