ABOUT LIV GOLF
The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. A landmark investment by LIV Golf also launched The International Series, a set of 10 enhanced events sanctioned by the Asian Tour, with elevated prize funds in world-class destinations, offering a pathway for leading professional and amateur golfers from around the world into the LIV Golf League.

HISTORY
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.
The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.
LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and off-season roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement, embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.
Away from the entertainment on the course, LIV Golf is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of the communities it visits through its ground-breaking social impact and sustainability strategy, ‘Potential, Unleashed.’ Named a 2024 Most Impactful award winner by Front Office Sports for utilising its platform to make a positive impact off the course, the League is committed to giving back and improving the world through golf.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Manager, League and Corporate Communications will be responsible for a variety of workflows involving external and internal communications with LIV Golf. They will work intimately with the Communications team, league departments, and external partners on all matters related to LIV Golf corporate communications, corporate social responsibility initiatives, league announcements, events, media relations and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Communications team on a comprehensive strategy that drives brand interest and awareness, showcases League innovation, informs media and fans, and inspires employees
Support the creation, implementation, and distribution of communications plans that amplify the League’s continued growth and impact across key business areas including sponsorships, broadcast, and product development
Collaborate with the Director, Corporate Communications, on internal communications efforts that reinforce best practices across departments and ensure all LIV Golf employees are updated on company news, announcements and events
Effectively manage relationships with local, national and international news outlets and storytellers, including both traditional and non-traditional media, that strengthen the League’s brand and business
Draft, edit and distribute messaging for internal stakeholders and external audiences, including newsletters, media alerts, press releases, social media copy, and more
Help manage media monitoring and coverage analysis of LIV Golf storylines and provide strategic input on how to capitalize on current affairs and trends
Manage media distribution lists and the department’s media inbox
Effectively manage relationships with third party agencies and partners

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven track record with at least 3–5 years of experience in Communications and/or Public Relations, preferably within sports for a league, franchise or college/university
Advanced-level degree, preferably in Communications or Journalism
Polished communication and writing skills. Ideally, a personable character who is able to interact and communicate across all cultures and business levels, internally and externally
Experience in an extremely fast-paced and evolving environment, given the start-up culture and global footprint of LIV Golf
A self-starter possessing a strong news sense and a proven ability to tell impactful stories
Have a passion for sports, entertainment and culture
Creativity with a knack for generating original ideas
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across departments within LIV to deliver strategic objectives
Strong business acumen, results-oriented and ability to act quickly and decisively with good judgement
Enthusiastic, proactive approach to managing competing priorities
Shows initiative and is capable of working independently to meet deadlines
Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel if necessary
