About Us: Ogbourne Downs Golf Club is a Championship course founded in 1907. Ogbourne is renowned for its superb location and views with all year round playability. Ogbourne prides its self on being a members Club and is home to some fantastic coaching facilities including a covered driving range and impressive short game area.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Operations: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the pro shop, including sales, merchandising, and inventory management. Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
Club Repairs: Perform club repairs and maintenance, ensuring equipment is in top condition. Advise members on the best solutions for their club repair needs.
Playing Opportunities: Represent Ogbourne Downs Golf Club in local and regional competitions. Engage with members through playing opportunities.
Coaching: When available provide coaching to members and guests and support current coaches in their sessions.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in the PGA Trainee Programme / fully qualified PGA Professional
Strong retail experience with a focus on customer service.
Proficient in club repair and maintenance techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for golf and a desire to develop a career in the industry.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
