JOB OVERVIEW
- This role will be responsible for the transport, milling, brush tumble, prime, stamp and clear-coat golf balls as set forth by daily production schedules, verbal, and /or written communication.
Must be willing to work 3rd shift (10:45 PM - 7:00 AM)
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate equipment based on sketches, blueprints and verbal descriptions
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of department.
- Ensure all products are running to their applicable product specification and that they meet quality standards.
- Ensure all associated paperwork and /or computer reporting is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Set-up, operates, and troubleshoots equipment.
- Report machine breakdowns to the Supervisor.
- Inspect machines parts to ensure quality and measurements are within specification
- Adheres to safety guidelines including improvements
- Works towards improvements for process efficiencies
- Other duties as assigned
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to make decisions independently
- Understanding of mechanical concepts related to manufacturing
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate a forklift
- This role requires a placement exam for mechanical concepts to be passed in order to be considered. Upon applying, you will receive an email with the link for the test.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Completion of trade school course of study or apprenticeship
- At least 6 months of experience with related printing machines or similar machinery
- Or a reasonable combination of the above qualifications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)
- Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
- Infrequent stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
- Frequent use of arm and hand dexterity
- The employee may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles
- Use of office equipment to include computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business related machines and software.
