Rapsodo is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive sales and brand presence in Japan. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about sports technology—especially in golf and baseball.
You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, engaging directly with customers and partners, and supporting regional growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on in-person customer visits and monthly collaboration at the Japan office.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Conduct regular in-person visits with retail partners, sports academies, and training centers, as well as direct-to-consumer events and activations.
- Present and demonstrate Rapsodo products to prospective and existing customers across both channels- B2B and B2C.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local accounts, distributors, and consumers.
- Support product launches, promotions, and educational sessions tailored to both B2B and B2C audiences.
Territory Development
- Execute territory-specific sales plans aligned with national goals for both business and consumer markets.
- Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to market expansion across retail, institutional, and direct channels.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and competitive activity.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide timely updates.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across business initiatives.
- Participate in monthly office meetings and team reviews.
- Share insights from the field to inform product, marketing, and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of sales experience, ideally with exposure to both B2B and B2C environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and territory planning abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling.
- Requirement to travel and be in the Yokohama office 1 week per month.
- Passion for sports—especially golf or baseball—is a strong plus.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- English proficiency a plus.
