This position is responsible for supporting the production of assigned shows, features, and projects as a member of the Branded & Client Production team. Primary responsibilities include shooting, producing, researching, idea generation, script writing, editing short pieces as assigned for broadcast and social platforms and miscellaneous administrative duties. Responsibilities might also include some copywriting and publishing to social media. Will assist supervisors during all phases of production as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study.
- Up to two years of experience in production and/or related field. Basic understanding of field production styles and techniques with an emphasis on shooting and editing is preferred.
- Familiarity with the following production systems and/or technical equipment is preferred: DSLR cameras, basic lighting, basic audio, nonlinear video editing (Adobe Premiere)
- Experience creating visuals, graphics and/or presentations in software like Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint
- Solid communication skills needed to work with a variety of teams. Computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or comparable programs).
- Experience creating and/or managing content for social media
- Basic knowledge of golf preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Shoot and edit content for use in features, shows and across social platforms.
- Assist with the production of elements for content. Organize footage for upcoming edit sessions and ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
- As assigned, produce content by utilizing research, writing, and editing skills. Work with show/project producers to develop editorial skills, production values and writing.
- Assist Producers and Senior Producers in researching and coordinating field content.
- Work with the Senior Producers and Content Producers to conceptualize and generate mock graphics and video content.
- Work with the social media team to schedule and publish approved content.
- Work with department leads to create pitches or pitch decks.
- Assist show producers to implement feature material into final program or project during on-line edit sessions or live show.
- Assist project producers during all phases of production as required, including miscellaneous administrative duties, filing scripts, music reports, etc.
- Feel empowered to contribute ideas in all project meetings.
- Special projects or other duties as assigned.
