Position Overview
As
a Guest Experience/Switchboard Agent at Cabot Cape Breton, you will be the
first point of contact for our in-house guests, embodying the spirit of
hospitality and professionalism. Your role involves responding to questions and
requests from across the resort and providing essential information about the
resort and its amenities. You will handle changes to golf and dining reservations,
answer phone inquiries, and address guest requests with efficiency and
courtesy. Your exceptional customer service skills, friendly demeanour, and
ability to multitask will create a positive and memorable experience for our
guests, setting the tone for their stay at Cabot Cape Breton.

Preferred qualifications and
skills:
- Guest services experience or enrolled in a post-secondary Hospitality program.
- Excellent computer skills, experience using a reservations system considered an asset.
- Excellent telephone manner.
Requirements of the role you
should be aware of:
- Based on the nature of our business and
the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a
criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional
criminal background check every two years.
- As a seasonal resort business, you can
anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Work outdoors for several hours in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
- Ability to spend long hours moving
around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, or sweeping.
